Creative music video clips

Publicadas por Corina a la/s 16:35
Though I'm a music fan, I rarely watch video clips. But when I do, I do enjoy those that catch my attention and I find special.
Today I want to share two music clips that I've always liked...
I hope you like them!

Imitation of Life (R.E.M.)
The entire video took 20 seconds to shoot. What you see is a loop that goes forwards for 20 seconds, backwards for 20 seconds, forwards for 20 seconds, backwards for 20 seconds, with one camera, static, and then, using a technique (called 'pan and scan'), they go from a widescreen format and reformat to fit your screen, moving in on certain parts of the entire picture. Check it out here:

Stand by Me (OASIS)
This video is a good example that things may not be what they seem. Such a cool idea! I like it very much. Do you like it too? Here it is:

What do you think of them? Is there a video you consider creative and would like to share? I'd love to hear about their names so as to have a look ;)

I love "Imitation of Life"! ;)

I'm a sucker for stop motion videos. I can watch "Lost Things" by Alison Sudol over and over (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwX7uEiEWx4). "Her Morning Elegance" is awesome and original, too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_HXUhShhmY).

Hope you're having a nice week! ;D
